Slinghot Guns

The rest of the world calls them “slingshot rifles”, while in Southern Africa, we refer to them as “kettie guns”. This is a modern take on the old traditional kettie (slingshot) as we all know it. Add a stock, trigger and aiming device, and you have transformed your resilient kettie into a precision speed machine! A good comparison would be the difference and practicality between a bow (kettie) and a crossbow (kettie gun). The concept is certainly not new, but technological advancements bring the kettie gun into its rightful own. It is easy to master, reasonably affordable, no licensing requirements and therefore pretty much accessible to all.

It is a great family activity, a brilliant training and education platform for community development, and a thoughtful alternative, to perhaps air rifles. “Wow! What is that?” This is the reaction you will get every time!
